Finished three swaps:
OTT world of warcraft:
Murloc ornament. I love this, really I do. Hope DH likes it, stocking up for the winter holiday!
how bizarre, I swore i took a picture of this... It's all pink and black goodness with corset ribbons, lace and flowers. Hmmm, will have to put this pic up later.
I really like it and it feels comfortable to wear, which is what I was hoping for.
and jar of whimsies:
The jar is a fairy urban rescue habitat jar. You may scoop up a fairy inside the jar. The top is filled with synthetic foliage including a soft place for recovering fairies to sit. Beaded ants and dragonflies should make a fairy feel at home. If the fairy decides to stay the jar may be used for all her trinkets. It also comes with a guardian miniature unicorn.
The top of the jar is a pincushion with hand made pins
The crafted goodies (wrapped in the doily next to the jar, cause I changed containers and the crafted things wouldn't fit. ) A round container with a screw top lid in poly clay with the Game of Thrones house Stark motto "Winter is Coming" and a direwolf on the top. And two hair clip holders, one for each dear daughter to match their rooms. Also came with doily and vintage handkerchief.
All the other non crafted whimsies: vintage jewelry, steampunk bits, dominoes, cat stamps, champagne tops, bunny applique, and those plastic things for attaching kids toys, lace, beads, stick on rhinestones, antique spoons, a small oil can, rulers, a jack-o-lantern spreader, and a needle threader. The awesome part of this was that I got most of it for free. It coincided with my Mom's yard sale, so at the end I was encouraged to take whatever I could/might be able to use. The next weekend was the schools relay for life sale and everything is always priced good, so even with buying a good chunk, I still only spent maybe $1.50. I love how the jar turned out and I think I collected enough stuff to fill 3 or 4 jars. Yay i have lots of whimsies now!
