uugh! i hate pattern sizes. my mom made my wedding dress and ended up having to cut the pattern out 3 sizes bigger than i really am..... they always seem to make you feel like that.

ok, i think i know what i'm going to do. one of our colors is light blue so everyone will have a light blue shirt.

the bridesmaid's will say "bridesmaid" and have a large ribbon bow sewn on each sleeve. (a play on the ugly dress syndrome)

the groomsmen's will say "groomsman" and have a bow tie stencilled under the colllar.

it's not the most creative, but it should be fun!

ok, i'm brainstorming for ideas but seem to be coming up short! (maybe all the wedding plans are sucking my creativity dry!) i'm an avid stenciler (my friends and i ruitinely have "shirt parties" where we take over the living room and make shirts) so i want to make shirts for all our attendants to wear for the rehersal. (i've already figured out what me and my fiance's will look like)

i'm hoping to go with something more straightforward then just "bridesmaid" ect.... (something funny and clever or atleast cute)

anyone have any ideas?? i'd be so greatful!!

here is a list of different tutorial websites, you can find good ones for the freezer paper method.

i used acrylic paint with a textile additive. it works really good, but screen printing ink (such as speedball)  is really good too. (it won't ever crack or start to get worn-out)

i used freezer paper, and i painted one layer on and then let it set for a few minutes and painted another one on top. i think you just have to be patient with the layers to get good coverage. hope that helps!
