11  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Bullet Bill on: June 16, 2011 12:08:14 PM

Captain Jack took alot out of me.  So I needed a project that would be fun and interesting but easy enough that it wouldnt drive me crazy.  So I got to looking around at the Mario villains and already having a soft spot for Bullet Bill from MarioKart(MarioKarts bullet bike)I knew I had to do him.  He didnt take very long and was actually ready a week ago, but somebody was slow on the felt.  I hope you enjoy him as much as I do.

And on a side note, we had the idea for adding a flame behind him similar to the way Charizards flame worked in his pattern.  We took a picture so youd get the idea.

12  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Weezing on: May 30, 2011 09:40:29 AM

Sorry for the crummy picture but it was all I could do with what I had.

School was coming to an end so I wanted a simple project to get me through to the end of the semester.  He has been finished for a long time, I just wanted to post Captain Jack first before him because of the release of the movie.  He's another pokemon who I never really cared for in the show or games, but now feel attached to since I made one Smiley

13  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Captain Jack on: May 24, 2011 09:08:09 AM
Now that summer is finally here and the stress of my fourth year in my five year program has passed I found myself able to start a few projects that have been on my to-do-list since I started making my own patterns.  One of them is my most recent pattern, Captain Jack Sparrow!  He wasnt the easiest one to make, and he has a ton of little details, but in the end he was definitely worth making and I think he turned out great.  It cant hurt either that I finished him in time for the new film to come out (which is pretty good I must say).  The pattern and pictures are below, but if you need any additional help feel free to send me a message.  If youre a fan of Pirates of the Caribbean Id definitely suggest trying him, ever since I finished him Ive had the theme song stuck in my head.

14  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Exeggutor on: April 26, 2011 09:34:44 AM

He's been finished for over a month, but I just haven't had the time to post him yet.  School is done on Friday and I will be able to get back to my old ways.  He is a little larger than I had expected him to be but he's the perfect size for me.  He is one of the easier pokemon to do and put together.  He's a nice addition to any pokemon collection
Questions and Comments are welcome

15  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Deoxys on: April 21, 2011 05:19:51 PM
I was asked to make a Deoxys a long time ago, and with school coming to an end life became hectic.  Also my computers battery cable died so I have been without access to the pattern for a while now.  I hope he was worth the wait and that you guys enjoy him as much as I do! feel free to leave any questions or comments

16  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Togekiss on: February 12, 2011 07:30:24 PM

My latest pattern is definitely one of my favorite pokemon.  On Soul Silver he's a part of my party (lvl 61: Aura Sphere, Fly, Extrasensory, and Metronome for those who are interested), so I had to try and make him.  With a little coaxing from Beau I got to work on him shortly after finishing charizard and had the body and spikes done pretty quickly.  The wings kind of scared me, but Beau and I figured out a way to do them and I think they turned out pretty nicely.  I hope you like him!

17  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Charizard on: February 04, 2011 06:00:33 PM

Beau has talked about me making a Charizard for a long time now. I was always hesitant (he made me a little nervous), but finally gave in as usual.  He had some ups and downs along the way, his head was especially frustrating, but after a while he finally started coming together.

The touch I am most pleased with is his flame.  Beau and I have been trying to figure out how to make our Charmanders flame (wolfdreamer) ever since I made it months ago.  It finally hit me while playing with some polyfil, that it looked like a flame when shaped.  Beau had some red and yellow paint and went at it! He mixed the paint into red, orange and yellow and at first tried to use a paint brush but eventually resorted to finger painting (Messy, but effective!).

18  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Chansey on: January 21, 2011 08:49:21 AM

Sorry for the blurry picture.

Now that Gandalf is completed, I have a couple big projects to finish, but wanted a lighter day yesterday.  I got to looking at all the Pokemon out there and decided it might be fun to crochet a little Chansey.  I hope you like her as much as I do!

19  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Gandalf the White on: January 17, 2011 08:13:26 PM

While I was working on Alice, Beau(my fiance) finally succeeded in pestering me into making him a Lord of the Rings character.  His first choice was Aragorn, but when I told him to be more realistic he happily suggested Gandalf the White.  As with Link, he made the sculpey items (Gandalfs staff and glamdring, his sword, and the clasp for his cloak).  He also had an idea for making Gandalfs mustache, sideburns and eyebrows using felt as a base.  We glued the thread onto the felt and trimmed the excess.  When I finished, Beau declared him epic lol.

20  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Alice Cullen Inspired Doll on: January 14, 2011 07:37:05 PM

Im a really big fan of the Twilight Saga and have made a few twilight themed things before, but for my latest project I thought Id really aim high and try to crochet Alice.  I used an outfit from New Moon as the basis for her and I think it turned out pretty nice.

I hope you like her.  Any questions or comments are always appreciated.
