3  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Potholders, coasters, and checkbook covers!! on: May 03, 2010 09:01:02 AM
Hopefully I posted this in the right area!!

Since I'm new, I can't post pictures until 10 posts, soooooo I posted links to the pictures Smiley

I've been sewing crazy lately and just wanted to share some of the stuff I've been working on. I made the patterns myself except for the potholders, which I got from one of my sewing books Smiley

Here are the coasters I made. I quilted them myself and also made the bias tape that went around it. There is a layer of batting in the middle so that it soaks up the sweat that drops from the side of the glass.

These are the potholders. Quilted the same as the coasters. I got the idea for the coasters after making a bunch of these.

And last but not least, checkbook covers!

Let me know what you all think! I would love to hear both comments and criticism!
Enjoy Smiley
