3  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Snack Swap Four! S/U till 29th June. S/O 13th July on: June 21, 2011 08:43:23 PM
Oh my gosh,  just got done looking at past galleries and OH MY! Would love to join, but this is only my 10th post. I've been here over a year, but always been a lurker. And I was at the PO today and the price of shipping is insane, even for a medium flat rate box  Shocked Maybe the next time around. Hopefully by then I will have stopped hiding behind my screen  Wink

5  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Re: Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Wants My Dress on: May 29, 2011 08:22:24 PM
My husband suggests talking to a lawyer. Not only is it one of a kind, but they are seeking to put it in a museum where it will be added to stock that they will be making profit off of daily. I think that would be your best course of action, get a professional opinion so you don't get burned.

7  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re: Specific ribbon design on: May 12, 2011 11:22:01 PM
Okay, so just a random idea, what about getting a, lets say, 1 inch wide white ribbon, cutting slits in it almost from top to bottom and weaving a 3/4 inch black ribbon through it at the spacing you want it to be? You could do the same with the black and gold... Just a thought. Hope this helps.
8  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re: NEED to find Sailor Moon fabric!! on: May 12, 2011 10:55:58 PM

Iron on transfers

Okay, that's about it for right now. I'll keep looking later... Hope these help in some way.
9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: What do I put in my jar? (Harry Potter related) on: March 21, 2011 12:37:52 AM
What about adding corn starch to water a little at a time until it's the consistency you want. You can add food coloring to it too and maybe little tiny pebbles for some texture. Just a thought Smiley
