1  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / I've been looking for something like this... on: March 11, 2011 12:13:40 PM
Fantastic work, and killer heels! I'm on my way to the thrift store right now to see what quirky heels I can find!

My boyfriend just found a tub of acrylic paints at our storage unit that someone just left for garbage--and now I know what to do with them. Cheesy Thanks for sharing these with us, LOVE 'EM!
2  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: The Owl and The Pussycat - free patterns! on: November 19, 2010 01:56:08 PM
These are absolutely adorable!  Thank you for the free patterns--I've been looking for more crocheting projects and now I'm thinking a snowman would make my mom very happy.  Any chance you could create a pattern for one?  Now my gears are turning...

Thank you for the inspiration!  Smiley
I bet you could turn the owl into a snowman. Just change the color of the eyes and nose, add a scarf and a hat and voila!

My sentiments exactly.  Just a few alterations, and a cute crocheted scarf?  I've got this!  Wink

Thank you for your tutorial!!  And I love the way you decorated it!

I will definitely be back when making my next garter--I think I'll aim for a stretchier fabric..but hey, still learning right?

I just wanted to thank you for this tutorial.  I kept returning to it, pondering what fabric I was going to use, and then voila!

Now I know the fabric pattern is kind of funky, but it was on clearance for about $3!!! Can't beat that.  And, my boyfriend loves it.  Wink

8  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: My Halloween in Wonderland Wedding (INCREDIBLY PICTURE HEAVY!! I mean it!!) on: November 18, 2010 08:52:31 AM
I don't even know where to begin!  The talent and passion that is evidenced by these pictures is breathtaking and inspiring.  I hope your day was as magical and beautiful as you envisioned--from the looks of things, I'm not sure what else could be dreamt up!

Your father's tree is cute and amazingly crafted...and those flower girls, they look like faeries from the back.  Way too cute.  Wow!
9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: V-Stitch fingerless gloves, now with pattern on: November 18, 2010 08:38:13 AM
These are phenomenal.  Your sister must be thrilled!  I have been working on making myself a pair, but if you could only see how tight they keep getting around the knuckles, you would truly begin to understand how much I appreciate this tutorial.

These are fabulous, thank you.  I hope you are feeling better!
10  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Bacon Scarf - Christmas present for the boyfriend on: November 18, 2010 08:34:49 AM
Wow! This scarf looks awesome! If my boyfriend got what appeared to be a massive package of bacon for Christmas, I believe he might start wearing a scarf...now if only we didn't live in Texas....

I also love the plastic wrap/gift wrap idea...how clever Smiley
