1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: Beaded little girls on: November 08, 2011 06:46:36 PM
Those are awesome! I can't believe the patience you have!  I am in love with the girl with the teal dress. If her hair was grown and her eyes were brown that would look like my grandbaby! You are, as always, awesome my friend!
2  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Apoxie Sculpt - I think I am in love with it! on: October 05, 2011 03:46:11 AM
Love this and love your use of colors and textures!  Maybe I should try this - I have the hardest time with baking clay...
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Computer/Paper Hair Bows on: October 04, 2011 05:43:01 PM
Super cute!  I'm sure your little one will have an endless variety of darling little bows. Since they seem inexpensive and easy to make, the durability doesn't seem like it would be as important of a factor.

Also thanks for the link to the earring tute.  I'm seeing some new earrings in my future!

I guess the title is a little misleading - maybe I should edit it (if I remember how).
The bows are printed on photo paper and then covered with clear duct tape and backed with colored duct tape (to match the bow). They are way more durable than you would think as long as you don't run around in the rain or bend them... I have computer earrings (made the same way) that are 3 or 4 years old and still in good shape!

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I love being artistic with my computer Smiley

5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Computer/Paper/Duct Tape Hair Bows on: October 04, 2011 03:36:38 PM
I thought I posted this yesterday but never saw it show up. I guess I've been gone too long. But I'm baaaack! Anyone miss me?

Remember my computer earrings?

Well, my pretty little granddaughter is now 2 1/2 years old and never goes out without a hair bow.
So I decided to try my hand at making computer hair bows.....

They are printed on photo paper and then covered with clear duct tape and backed with colored duct tape so they are pretty durable if treated with care (no running around in the rain!)

So what do you think? Cool or stupid?
6  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: WIP - hexagon kaleidascope quilt on: October 03, 2011 04:36:30 PM
Awesome! That must have taken quite a bit of work to match the patterns up so perfectly on the material. Love it!

9  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Teeny Tiny Polymer clay flip flop charms on: June 10, 2010 05:13:12 PM
OMGosh Gina these are soooo cute!! The bottoms are made of different canes you have made???  The colors are so bright and beautiful - they look like flipflops people would love to buy in the store - and the texture on the bottom is the perfect touch! I love them!
10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: My first beaded Goddess doll on: May 19, 2010 03:41:37 PM
Ooooooo - Gorgeous - GORGEOUS - GORGEOUS!!!!

I love the story that goes with this - the path our dreams take - everyone is a goddess Smiley
I love the beads that stick out on the side and top of the head - I don't know if you meant for them to be hair or a crown but they could pass for either and make it totally perfect! The color combo is gorgeous and (as always) the beading is PERFECT!!!!!!
