It's so pretty.  It's almost like the white version of the little black dress!

Your dress is beautiful - and just in time for the hottest part of summer.  Thank you for sharing!

305  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Need Help for Sewing PEVA Material on: July 11, 2010 08:15:10 PM
My husband and I brown bag our lunches everyday for work.  When I saw these snack bags (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=342887.0), I thought they would be perfect for veggies and grapes and such.  However, I'm having problems sewing the PEVA liners.  For those of you who haven't worked with it - it's a very thin, vinyl-type material.  When I sew it, the bottom thread bunches (in big loops).  I've tried changing the tension and am going to try changing to a different sized needle next.  Does anyone have any other ideas?  Would using tear-away paper maybe help?  Also, I just oiled the machine (so I know all is in working order there).

Thanks for everyone who can offer suggestions.  I've had to walk away from this project until I can work out the kinks.  Angry

Your shirt looks professional - very well done!  And I really like the fabric - good choice.

The details are amazing for someone fairly new to sewing.  I would love to know too if you used a pattern or designed it yourself.

Love the dots on the first one, and the color of the second one.  Well done - enjoy your vacation!

I like all the variations you ended up with in the end.  Looks like you have the perfect start to many great tops.

This will be my first swap too and I hope I can live up to all the awesomeness that has come before.  Count this "yank" in!  I'll have to meditate on the questionaire before I send it - it's hard to pick a "favorite" anything with Pterry.
