What an adorable idea!  I have a lot of the same issues with tops.
Is the bird fabric a knit as well?

You have such a fun style.
I love the color combination and the funky front on the skirt (and the buttons).  Did you use a pattern or make it up as you went?
I would never have guessed that the ruffles were a knit.

What a pretty blanket - and just in time for winter!   Cheesy
Thank you for linking to the pattern too.

What a fun and colorful quilt!  The binding you chose really makes the rest of the colors pop.
9  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: polymer clay covered bamboo crochet hooks on: November 21, 2012 06:50:12 PM
How could anyone not want to crochet with these!   Wink
There so colorful and fun - I'd love to see what a set of these looks like with the colorful metal ends.
10  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Crocheted Baby Cocoon with V Flap and Button Hole on: November 18, 2012 07:34:08 PM
This looks so soft and snug.  Cheesy  I think the neutral color and wooden buttons help.
It took me a couple of moments to work out how you had the buttons set up though.
Very nice - your friend is lucky!
