2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Red Apron on: May 07, 2010 04:57:40 PM
I got this pattern from "One Yard Wonders" from Rebecca Yaker and Patricia Hoskins.  I love this book...I've make 5 things from it so far...and so many more to go!   Cheesy

I love the big open pocket in the front!

3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Sewn CD Holder on: May 07, 2010 04:42:42 PM
I got the pattern from the book "One Yard Wonders" from Rebecca Yaker and Patricia Hoskins.  It has CD openings on the back as well.  It makes it so easy to find CDs while driving and to take along with me when switching cars with my husband or riding with friends.

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Flowery Purse on: May 06, 2010 04:03:33 PM
I got the pattern for these purses from the book "One Yard Wonders."  I made a green one for myself and a red one for my twin sister.  I'm fairly new to sewing and this was my first attempt at sewing a zipper (inside the green purse).

5  Archive of Past Craftster Challenge Entries / CHALLENGE 50 ENTRIES / Smiley Spool Travel Sewing Kit on: May 05, 2010 12:12:46 PM
The adorable image of the smiley spool inspired me to make a travel sewing kit.  Now I'm ready for any sewing emergency!   Roll Eyes

It's hard to tell in the sunlight, but there are green threads running across the spool on the outside cover.  My favorite colors are blue and lime green, so I changed the image a little bit to make it more "me."

Thanks for looking! Cheesy
