1  Re: Eggs covered in Washi Paper in Easter by erisweaver on: April 21, 2010 08:26:39 PM
I got obsessed with these this Easter. I saw some selling at a fair for $$$ and thought, hey I could do that! Used the instructions I found online various places. I couldn't find "official" washi paper so I just used origami paper from the art store. It worked just fine. The art store also had little metal findings that I glued on the top of the eggs, and put a christmas tree ornament hanger through, and I hung 'em up all over the place. I got so obsessed I made about three dozen of these in the weeks around Easter.
