I'm so in for this swap! I'd love to have a cute little reminder of my sweet little kitties while I'm at work! as long as it starts late August/early September...

yeah, a OTT or a TTT (two-Tiny-things) Swap would be awesome! I'm about to start school, and won't have a lot of time to craft. Paramedic class is kind of a full-time attention hog. I might have to re-read a few of my favorites to get prepared for this swap!

if nobody else is interested, I'd be interested in doing a personal swap, at least! I'm glad that there's someone else that enjoys these books (I would LOVE to have a Lady-Slipper Tree!! lol!)

I'd be happy to organize this (or co-organize, since this would be my first time organizing!), is there a time schedule that everyone is looking for? like, maybe sign-ups Sept1-14, and send-outs Oct 12? or maybe something a little later, like in time for Christmas?

ok, so I did a little digging, and here's where I found the Pumpkin Juice Mix recipe:

the "orange-flavored breakfast drink powder" is Tang, or the equivalent.
the "regular" instant tea mix is just plain, unsweetened instant tea mix. (to me, it looks like dead, dried ants, which makes more cool/disgusting, but all the more Harry Potter-ish!)
it mixes better with hot/warm liquid, and tastes good either hot or cold. (you can mix it with cool/cold liquid, but it won't dissolve everything, and some of it will sit on top or the bottom (much like tea leaves!) and the pumpkin pie spice hardly ever dissolves, unless you mix it with hot liquid.)

I know I sent a jar of pumpkin juice mix... I don't remember if I was the only one or not though.
I do have a recipe, but it's written down on an index card and put into my recipe box... which is still in a box from the move. I'll find it and post the recipe as soon as I can though!

I was a little miffed over Voldy turning in to confetti when he died... but other wise, think they did a MARVELOUS job.

 SPOILERS! Aw, man! now I know what happens at the end... I mean, I've read the books, but I didn't want to know how they did everything...
I'm still excited though! I can't wait to see the end of the movie!

yay! the mitts fit! I was so worried about that... the pattern said "one size fits most" but I think that the pattern was for a small...
yay! everything made it >not< melted! *huge sigh of relief!*
and now that I'm past the swap "will-she-like-this" stress, I realize that I forgot to add one tiny detail to Emerson... so I tell you beware... he will leave pellets behind if handled too much... usually I make sure to train them before sending to not do that... but with everything going on, I forgot.  I'm sorry!

I love that name! I was thinking about what I should name him (I finally rescued him from the depths of under-my-bed and from my kitten. she's not happy that I took her favorite toy! but Wendell is totally going with me to the movie tomorrow!)

my co-worker wants me to make her some wrist warmers now! I can't wait to wear these to the theater!

and sadly, the ginger newts are down to the last little baggie... I couldn't keep my hands out of them! (or my stomach away from them!)

and guys, the robe is way more epic than the one in that picture! and it has long sleeves, so it's going to be my going-to-the-movies robe, if I don't forget it at work! it's always cold in the office, and it's perfect to wear here!


and now I really hope that my treats don't melt like poor oodleboodle's... I packed mine in an insulated bag with some ice packs.. *nervous!!* but with this Texas heat, who knows what could happen!
