I love Big Bang Theory and now have my whole extended family watching it including my 15 year old cousin. After making a shyguy for her sister, she said that what she really wanted was a Sheldon.  Once I recovered from my panic attack, I started planning and a few months later (after work, frustration and remaking pieces of this several times) this is what she got: 

My cousin is obsessed with Mario games on her DS so I decided to make her a slip case with the grow mushroom from Mario. This was also my first Tunisian crochet project so I wanted to pick something small and somewhat simple. She loves it.

I made this ShyGuy for my cousin's 8th birthday because this is her favorite character to play as in Mario Kart DS (she was even ShyGuy for halloween last year). He is my third original amigurumi and the hardest part for me was getting the peak of his hood right.

The colors are actually brighter than they appear in the pictures, the lighting in my room is horrible. For example the band holding his mask and his belt are in fact brown but you really can't tell in these pictures (sorry).

BATMAN!


This is the Batman doll I made for my nephew's 1st birthday. It took me about three months between life, making it without a pattern and pulling parts of it appart and starting them again, but it was totally worth it! I am officially the coolest Auntie ever! Everything is my own work accept the bat on the bat signal. I have zero embroidery skills and my cousin in law did this in about 20 seconds for me after I had to cut apart my third attempt to make it. She also is the shiz. Here are some more photos:

So I've been lurking on craftster for about three weeks and decided that I really wanted to join up 'cause you guys are just CRAZY Brilliant and I Love to crochet and knit!

So, here are the latest two projects I have finished; they were for two baby showers that I had at work last week. They are the first stuffed animals I have ever made and the Elephant was the first time I have used the anigurumi technique. It is from a patten I got  from the LION BRAND yarn website but instead of using bead eyes I crochet some.
 

One of the Soon -to- be mothers is doing her nursery in Robots and after a week of searching for a free robot pattern that I liked and not really finding one I just free handed this little guy that I think turned out really cute.
