1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / This is frustrating. HELP? on: May 02, 2010 08:27:26 PM
Okay, so I'm a crochet noob. The other day I picked up a crochet-for-beginners kit.
It goes from learning chain stitch, to learning to slip stitch, to learning single crochet, and so on.
I have got the chain stitch down, but I am failing miserably at the slip stitch.
And I'm not really sure about concept of the slip stitch yet.
Am I suppose to do a row of slip stitches on top my row of chain stitches?
I'm so confused about crochet in general. And I am desperate to learn.
If anyone has any tips or anything to help me out, it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks. xx
