1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Blue Accidental Dress on: April 25, 2010 10:19:47 AM
Thanx everyone! I didn't use a pattern, except for the collar part which was a double half-circle with a hole in the middle  Cheesy
It was mostly just sewing something, trying it on, changing it, trying it on again, changing it again etc. It took forever and the outcome (as always in these cases) was far from perfect as it had old needle-holes and such. But that's how you learn!

Hello everyone!
I have sewn a few project before but they were all reconstructed. So now I finally got me some actual fabric and a whole lot of mistakes later, this is what came out!

It's not perfect and there are a lot of defects that aren't in the picture but I think it was a tough project and so I'm happy with what came out... I'd love to hear what you think!

7  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / Alice in Wonderland dress to 50s dress - edit! on: April 17, 2010 03:47:06 PM
Hi ya'll!
Ever since I caught Tim Burton's alice in wonderland I was dying to make that dress. Now I got me some chiffon (although with a flower pattern, not striped like the original) and started to think of how to do it.

So anyway, I worked and worked and here it is! It's more of an homage and not really the same at all but oh well :-P
