1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Re: Please help identify this charming sewn object... on: May 26, 2013 07:54:30 PM
My Ma picked up a couple of these on a trip to Cozumel, they're for bread! You put them in a bowl and tuck your warm buns or biscuits in them :3

Seems I'm late to the party though and you already got your answer XP

I always love reading the LV swap thread an following all the different LV's adventures! Especially when I get to see familiar sights  Grin I think I'd really enjoy joining in, but there are some times when I can barely get myself out of the house other than to work. I'd be worried that I'd bore my LV to death.

I wonder if it would be too silly to do a trial run, a mock swap so to speak with my own LV. It'd be like a 'staycation' XD Just to see if I could keep at it for that many months. I know I could at least visit Disney World once or thrice.

Then if something happens at work and I can't go out anywhere the only person disappointed is me, which would be the case either way XP

Nice spider necklace!

I love the my little hippogryph, so adorable!

I do believe I would like to join in, but I have no idea which house I belong in. On quizzes I tend to end up a hatstall between Ravenclaw and Slytherin, but people say I am far too nice to be in either and that I must be a Hufflepuff! I do have to admit on Pottermore I got Slytherin, but then Hufflepuff on a second try through (just to see) and I think it bases the decision more on which house needs more students than anything else. Maybe PinkLeo would let me try on the sorting hat :3 (As Slytherin is underrepresented I'll not argue like Harry did. There have been good Slytherins too you know!)

I do know I have a great idea for my potions homework, good thing too! It does not do well to begin classes on Prof. Snape's bad side.

Those Koroks are so cool! I like the yellow one too. What a charming little guy.

Oh I forgot to put up some pictures of the treasure chest I sent to Crying Goddess. Please pardon the bathroom sink, it's the room with the best light, because there's a skylight in there.  Grin

Wow, that is just too weird...

I'm trying to think what could have possibly gone wrong. The only thing I can find (I'm a digger, I like to know these types of things so I search for information) is that both USPS and Royal Mail have restrictions on magnetic materials, but only for strong magnetic stuff, as it could cause malfunctions in certain airplane equipment (like a compass!)

Sorry, I'm used to citing my sources. But anyways, I HIGHLY doubt that this magnet was strong enough to still have a pull at 7 feet. If it did that's one heck of a magnet!

Now the investigator in me wants to know why in the world someone would take a magnet replace it with a chocolate bunny and thinks no one would notice. Even if your customs inspector/nosey mailperson was a Zelda fan and took the magnet, why not the hoop? Why not take the whole thing? And why on earth replace it with a chocolate bunny?

The world may never know. Though if it was me I would have called the post office and been like "Uh... why would someone put a chocolate bunny in my package that wasn't there when it was sent? Cause, yeah... that's creepy."

Yay! I'm so glad everything is intact and got to you safely CG. I ave a picture of that treasure chest and bottle somewhere on my moms camera. I'll post that up so everyone can see it.

You see, I made the chest for the fierce deity mask, but then it wouldn't fit um... I mean, it was too powerful of an artifact to go in a simple treasure chest. So I put an ancient seal on the box to keep it contained. Those who've played through Skyward Sword will recognize it  Grin But I'd spent that time making the chest and didn't want to not send it, and who couldn't use a spare empty bottle?

Those. Hoops. Are. So. COOL. Awesome job! That Shadow Ganon shirt is pretty 'Boss' too! *shot with an arrow* Ouch, my bad =3

Here's what I received from Crying Goddess  Grin

All together...

First a lovely yarn wrapped Triforce!

And it's reversible. Already has a home on my dresser next to my (small) ATC collection.

Then some awesome Navi themed magnets, as well as the one with the Triforce of Courage on it. For all my notes and reminders when I need to be told "HEY. LISTEN. WATCH OUT."

And last but not least some kitty toys from the three Goddesses themselves.

The cats love them. Luna has already hidden hers somewhere, and Kass was trying to get in my lap to smell the box before I even opened it.

Thanks again! I love it all.

I had to eat! Grin

I did get to open it yesterday though! But now I am at work and can't post the pictures. *Grumble* I love it, but you all will have to wait in suspense. I'll post it when I get home.

Beautiful packages! I love the colors on that knit market bag, so pretty. That cross stitch is wonderful! I will have to learn just so I can make one.

The little milk bottle is so sweet. I want one X3

I received from Crying Goddess! I haven't had the chance to open it yet, but when I do I'll be getting pictures and putting them up.

AHHHHHH,

So I end up having to go help a friend out today and forget to take the package with me. Get home at 5 and realize what I've done. Tell my mom that "I have to get to the Post first thing in the morning!" and she looks at me like I'm crazy. "Uh, tomorrow is Good Friday. The mail doesn't run."

I guess I'll be sending on Monday now >.>

I really really REALLY don't like being late. I feel bad. ;^; Sorry everyone.
