Thanks fellow Craftsters! I had never done a collar before and was intimidated.. but this 'all in one collar' style was so easy it surprised me.. I really had to piece the fabric to get the right look and placement.. and work around some pinholes I discovered upon cutting.. but I can't stop patting myself on the back for how well it came out.  I swear I rarely get such amazing results. Woo Hoo!

I found this super awesome Beachy Sunset themed twin sheet at my local Value Village months and months ago. I thought that I'd make myself a cutie patooty dress out of it. Well.. my growing, preggo belly is too big for a twin sheet.. so Sweetie got himself a shirt out of it instead.

I used Kwik Sew 3792 which was amazingly easy for an experienced sewer. It was missing a paragraph of instructions that were easy to figure out.. and it didn't call for hidden finishes.. just overedged ones.. I couldn't do that.. so I finished my seams correctly.

Sweetie LOVE LOVE LOVES his new shirt and immediately made me go to the fabric store with cash in hand to buy him an array of fun fabrics for new shirts.

Without further ado.. Viola!

Kick butt! My 2x Sweetie loves this style of shirt too.. I'm afraid of collars.. but I think I just might have to try this pattern out! He needs some new duds desperately.

So let's say I work for a fabulous graphic design, print and fabrication company...

And after a route job the production manager (knowing what a crafty recycling, re-purposing freak I am..) brings me these 'garbage' pieces of 1.5" acrylic.

So what do I do??? I get one of my designers to make decals depicting the heads of my nephews..

Sew me up some patchwork checkerboards and Voila! Personalized checker games for each family!!

Try using just a dab of paste glue (glue stick) on a pencil erasure and dab up your tiny items and press into the glue. Any transferred paste glue will wipe of easily with a damp cloth. (if your surface is non porous)

You know... superheros and blue sparkles happen to go together.. I should post up the 'Disco Superman' curtains I made using whole panels of that blue spandex.. I love this skirt!

We need to have a Disco Superhero party methinks.
