2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / every shirt i ever made pluss a costume*many pictures* on: August 17, 2005 03:08:15 PM
i finally got around to posting all my shirts.  I'm really proud of them, especially when i wear them around school and get many compliments.  i posted them from newest to oldest and threw in my sophomore homecomming costume at the bottom Cheesy
this is my patchworky shirt that i completed like a week ago, it was kinda a go with the flow thing but i really like how it came out.  oh and i am wearing a lace tanktop under it because i made it a little to low cut, i'm planning on adding some pretty white lace.

the back

this was a halter, and i wanted to turn it into a shirt

i made this shirt using the amazing tutorial by lemonadelemonade......it was called "the asymmetrical lace up shirt" i just thought this was so awesome and had to try it out but i needed alot of fabric and only had pink. Tongue

my sisters say it looks like I'm wearing a bag like a potato sack but i like it Smiley

and finally this is the shirt that got me into sewing, i made it in 9th grade and now I'm a junior, but it still fits. i think i used  5 bandannas to do it.

this is my homecomming costume from sophomore year, i was tinkerbelle and i went with a pirate.  my friends and i were all Disney people, but they got the good ones first. Sad me and my friends all made our costumes but i was the only one who didn't use a pattern. I sewed wings on the back but its hard to see.

thanks Grin
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / another thing to boil...paintbrush bracelet! on: July 14, 2005 08:04:35 PM

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / what to call them? iron-on homemade funky clothes cloth patches/designs? on: July 12, 2005 08:29:43 PM
yea, the title is pretty much self-explanatory, but i made these two pieces today to iron onto clothes like jeans or t shirts just to look cool i think, oh yea and to iron onto my bookbag.....

my inspiration came from a body spray bottle, i used stitch witchery to iron the pieces together, then used my sewing machine to make designs and hold the pieces together, this will probabaly go on a tanktop~~~

star out of fabric....probabably going on the but pocket of my jeans..

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / do u have any suggestions for my muklucks( long sock thingers)????? on: February 01, 2005 07:54:17 PM
hi im a newbie and need help!!.......so i have these muklucks they are made from yarn, like knitted long socks with leather on the bottom( there is picture of one it is my icon thinger ), anywho i bought them at the mall because i can't knit, and even before i had a chance to wear them to school (as in the first to wear them) a whole bunch of people start buying them..... so i want to make mine different, because conformism is stupid.  i thought of using buttons to sew on them, but i have buttons sewn on alot of stuff already....im open to any advise!
