I'm always on here looking at what people make and getting ideas of things to try while I teach myself to sew. My daughter saw this skirt, http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=298574.0
and told me she had to have one, so I made one.
I am happy with it and so is my daughter but I thought it would look cute a bit shorter and fuller so I did both layers from the original tute, left out the ruffle hem, and used a ribbon sewn to a piece of elastic in the waistband.
I LOVE how this one came out, and while I doubt I'll be going anywhere near tulle again for quite awhile, I think I could do even better if I ever made one again.
