1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Altered Tin- a blessing for sewers on: June 06, 2014 01:32:23 PM
Perfect. My sewing machine is out of commission for a while and was looking for something to make in the mean time.  I always wanted to alter a tin, but never came up with an idea I liked for me.  This is exactly what I am going
to do.  I have an old tin my aunt used for sewing that I will use.
Thank you so much for the inspiration!! Roll Eyes Kiss

3  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Blockless 1/2 Day Baby Quilt on: May 30, 2014 02:47:44 PM
I am a quilter, and never thought of this. Sad  Nice for charity projects or the never ending gift giving occasions.  I don't always want to invest months on a project for a complete stranger or so for kids to just drag around.
Great idea!  Grin

6  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Barbed wire (miles and miles of it) on: December 13, 2011 07:13:34 AM
I know you said it is brittle, but can you curl enough to make a wreath form? Like a grapevine wreath only metal?  From there the decorating possibilities are endless.

I actually did this and its really an eye catcher.  My wire was already in a circle when I found it, so half the work was done.
