Wow, these are incredible! I love to craft and am amazed that I never heard of a Dotee before. At first I was like " what the heck is a Dotee?" But scrolling through the pics I get it and have fallen in love. I think I'm gonna have to try my hand at a few Dottees and give them to a few friends. Great work everyone. A few of my faves were the flower with embroidery, the booby goddess, and the pantyliner dotee and paint brush one were fab. The nesting doll was just so delicate and detailed. Heck they were all great. Maybe I will be able to participate in the next swap.
What a great swap! I love the squirrel bag and the Scottie is adorable. my daughter and I are huge dog people. We have to great Mutts. We are going to a dog show tomorrow where our pup will get to show off his new t-shirt my daughter made for him.
I love embroidery work. This pillow is great and I love the colors.I am working on embroidering work on my cloak. I have lots of bright colors in it and can't wait till it's all done. Now if I could just find a few more hours in every day for the next few weeks I may be able to get it done. LOL
I just found out about this site and am so jealous I didn't find it earlier. Maybe then I would have had the chance to receive such a great bag, and I love doilies. Doily making is sadly becoming a lost art. Great Job!
I think it's great that you are using a pelt that otherwise would have sat around and collected dust. It's great to re purpose as much as you can. I have a friend that has gone to thrift shops and collected pelts from old coats. She has made a mosaic of the skins to cover and protect her ritual drums. She says it helps absorb any damaging moisture, her ritual room is in the basement of her house.
This is so cute! I love the bright colors. What did you use to actually make the cookie? I always look for different things to make for my nieces and nephews for holidays and birthdays. I just think hand made is so much more special. I think my niece would love this! Keep up the good work.
