This is so cool! Definitely hitting This Rocks.
82  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Dressed up Dresser (trash to treasure) on: April 15, 2010 11:06:10 AM
...I'm trying to wrap my head around the fact that someone actually made a conscious decision to paint an entire dresser that awful yellow.

But it turned out really cute! My favorite drawers are the birds and the pink with black swirls.
83  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: tube top recons! on: April 14, 2010 02:10:56 PM
Those turned out great! And as someone who also possesses giant wachungas, I know how hard it is to find a good strapless bra, so congrats.
84  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Raspberry lemonade scones on: April 13, 2010 02:08:54 PM
Those look insanely delicious. I'm currently trying to eat healthier, but I might have to give these a try.  Smiley
85  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: altered book ideas on: April 13, 2010 07:54:51 AM
Somebody on craftster did a project for her boyfriend that involved chronicling all the silly texts he sent her and one of them was something like, "If you ever get mauled by a bear I hope it avoids your face because I think you're cute."

An actual compliment I once received: "You smell like a Febreze commercial!" I had not used any Febreze.
86  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Dartmoor Scarf - Now With Grid on Page 2 on: April 13, 2010 04:14:32 AM
I love this! Wisted.
87  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: :.:Delicious miniature goodies:.: + few celebrities on: April 12, 2010 10:08:24 PM
Wow! These are all great. The texture on those cake crumbs is insane. It looks so real!
88  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Headband With Changeable Charms on: April 12, 2010 09:10:08 PM
This is genius! I cut my hair super-short a few days ago and headbands actually look cute on me now, so I've been on the lookout for ones I like. I think I may try to recreate this - I have some bright paisley ribbon that might be perfect for bow charms.
89  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Guitar Strings - recycled bracelets on: April 12, 2010 09:01:53 PM
Ooh, maybe I can do this with ukulele strings when mine needs to be restrung. Those are made of nylon though, so I don't know how well that would work.  They might be too floppy.
90  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: Painted Earring Jewelry Box on: April 12, 2010 08:55:31 PM
This is so striking! My current earring organizer is so boring, I'd love to have something like this. Wisted.
