1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / The annoying ever-widening Skinner blends on: January 19, 2007 06:52:54 PM
Why do my skinner blends keep getting wider and wider after putting them through the pasta machine?  I'm folding them over to meet the edge, but they keep getting shorter and wider.

By the time the blend is completely blended, I have a 1LX4W inch blend rather than the 5LX 2.5W inch that I started with.

What am I doing wrong?  I've looked on line and someone said to use a magnet or heavy block, but not where or how to attach, use, etc.

Do you fabulous Craftster craftamaniacs know what gives?
