The red yarn is an one-ply merino-acrylic blend "Colorato" , it just said needles:7-8 but not if that's mm or us size...
The gray yarn is some 3-ply wool, i bought on a market without any additional information and I used a 3.5mm hook.

Hey craftsters!
After I saw coocoosnest beautiful Window Treatments (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=397365.0) I had to try this awesome technique.
I watched some videos and made a sampler piece and then a hat. I just love how it turned out and can't wait to do the next project with interlocking!

Here is the right side
