ok guys - sorry i'm such a slacker...i'm working on a tutorial i swear. it'll come eventually. good things come to those who wait...he he - i know, not amusing.
anyway - to answer a few questions: the fabric is stiff because i interfaced the crap out of everything. interfacing is your friend. trust me. and on the bottom - in between the lining and the outer fabric i inserted two pieces of that plastic canvas stuff. it seriously helps that thing keep its shape.
and the beads say w-h-i-t-n-e-y - cause that's the sweet girl's name!
wow! a tutorial?! sure - i mean i might as well - i already gave the dimensions to someone who pm'd me.
sewingisfun i think this thing i smaller than you think it is. it holds a lot of stuff - but shoes and gym clothes? probably not. thanks again for all you compliments - i'll see what i can whip up and i'll get back to you guys tomorrow.
you guys are so nice here! my confidence meter is slowly rising. i think i'll just keep making stuff the way i am and if something comes up - it does - and if it doesn't, i'll just have a lot of really cute stuff! there's nothing wrong with that is there? hehe
thank you! sorry that was probably not the best place to ask that question. there's now a matching wallet too - but it was my first time with this new pattern i whipped up so i botched it a bit. what do you guys think?
ok - question to pose to you guys. my boy and i were arguing because i told him that i wanted to get some stuff together and possibly start a little business through a consignment shop. but he's been through the whole clothing business thing before and is really woried about me falling on my ass and losing a lot of money - like the company he designed for did. (anyone ever heard of domanate - in sac town?) anyway, he says that nothing sells unless its completely original and that companies can't survive unless they are able to mass produce their products. obviously - i can't do that because 1.) don't hve the money and 2.) i'm taking 17 units and working 35 hours a week.
but what do you guys think? if i could ever get anything into somewhere like day-lab or cut+paste or whatever would you snatch it up? please be honest with me because if i really don't want to invest the time/money if my boyfriend's insights wil turn out to be true. help me out girls!
do any of you lovely ladies happen to have some zelda a link from the past knitting patterns lying around! I am in desperate WANT of some - my boyfriend insists that i don't NEED them. I know that somebody was going to post some cross stitch patterns awhile back - but will those work for knitting with the stitches being more like rectangles than squares. plus i couldn't find where she posted them anyway. please please please somebody help me. I want a zelda backpack!
