Wow, that is super-hot! It's so big and looks soooo much like a "real" companion cube. Congratulations!
342  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / A lot of scarves... and other things... on: July 16, 2010 07:05:41 AM
There was a time when I wasn't obsessed with crocheting and knitting... but this time is passed and now I have always a thousand projects on my list... And not enough time to post them all Tongue

Here is some scarves that I did for my friend, mainly from a Bernat pattern. Some are "action shots", but I didn't always have someone to pose for me...

Here is a shawl that I did when I realised that my friend's birthday was in a couple of days and I didn't have anything for her...

Thanks for the advice everyone! It's very useful and I'll be able to think about it and choose a solution... Nice!
344  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Snake? Snake!? Snaaaaaaaaaaaake!! on: July 12, 2010 03:59:25 PM
I love it! My boyfriend would love it too, he always tries to have me crochet video games amigurumis... I might borrow the idea of doing an amigurumi Snake... Smiley
345  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Circular knitting needles? on: July 12, 2010 03:53:58 PM
Hi! I want to knit two socks at a time using circular knitting needles, but I don't like the ones I have at home. The flexible strand in the middle is very stiff and it creates a lot of laddering on the socks where the stictches are separated.

I tried putting the middle part of the needles in hot water, but it didn't help much...

So I want to know if it is always like that with circular needles or if there is a brand or company that do really flexible ones... Do you have a suggestion?

348  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Socks, socks and more socks! on: May 25, 2010 03:37:17 PM
Hummm, the only thing I could propose that may help you would be to start with less stitches for the beginning of the sock and add stitches when you finish the cuff of the sock. Hope it helps!

350  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Baby package! on: May 21, 2010 02:50:59 PM
Here is the baby package I made for one of my friends who is due any day now!

Here is a close-up of the little ducky I crocheted using a pattern from Lion Brand (I think) and Vanna's choice yarn.

The blanket was crocheted from a pattern from a Katia "Qu Facil" pattern magazine, no. 46. I really should have blocked it, I regret it now...

The last piece is obviously knitted and not crocheted. I used a super-old pattern that my mother had when I was myself a baby.

She loved the package and her favorite was the duck. What do you think?
Thanks for looking!
