The DC# said my partner received yesterday... I know that means anyone that hasn't received yet doesn't have me, but that package has taken forever to get there and I must find out if it arrived safe! I'm so bad with secrets.

Oh FOC partner, where art thou?
13  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / Re: Touble with slow mail on: May 15, 2006 04:13:18 PM
I just found this post and had to add my 2 cents. In a swap that I organized I sent two different packages out of the US. One went to India and the other went to Singapore. I used a small post office in the town next to me that I haven't used too often, but it's a post office all the same so it should've been fine. Nope. Both of my packages mysteriously disappeared. I went back to the post office and they had no idea what packages I was talking about. Since I had no tracking or insurance (they wouldn't sell me tracking in the first place) I was at a complete loss.

Now more recently I shipped out a package from my usual post office. They told me it would take a 3-5 days. All the other packages I sent out there from the same post office took 3 days. It's been two weeks without a word. I got a DC# and the package has been in New Jersey for about a week. I live in New York and it's heading out to the west coast.

Simply put, I'm aggravated with the postal system Undecided

Synne might as well be my best friend! Heh, everything she made and bought for me is amazing. You should start telling my friends and family what to get for me Tongue

And yes, it's quite alright that you used the pics I took Smiley Thanks again for being my wonderful FOC!

Yes we do! I received my reveal package and guess what was in it? ...YARN! If I can't get good pictures tonight, I'm going to wait until tomorrow because I want yarn in the wild pictures, too

So on that note... I KNOW WHO WAS SENDING TO ME! It was ... SYNNE. And I'm so glad she was my partner. I love everything she sent me Smiley Lately I've been feeling very sick, and this packaged cheered me up.

She sent me Debbie Stoller's Stitch'n bitch crochet the Happy Hooker! Yeah, I'm excited Grin She also sent me yarn and hooks. I plan on reading through the book while I'm stuck in bed, and once I think I understand how I'm going to give it a go!

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! Synne, you were a tricky one. I looked at your Etsy shop and the posts you made in the "How's your Etsy shop" thread and had no idea it was you who was sending to me! By the way, I love your Etsy shop. Everything you make is wonderful!
