1  Re: One Tiny Thing Miyazaki Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by Shy on: April 02, 2011 02:27:33 PM
Okay, so this arrived yesterday, but I've only just had a chance to upload photos.

Check out the major haul IdlersDesign sent me!

And close up. Keyring and sushi pendant.  Cheesy Extras.

Super cute soot balls. More extras!

My first tiny thing is a soot ball bracelet with little food stars! The photo doesn't do this justice.

My second tiny thing is my favourite... Crochet Kodama!  Grin And he can totally stand Shocked (if you prop him up with a bracelet)

Amazing. Thank you so much IdlersDesign

So here is the wonderful selection of goodies Feline2001 sent me.  Grin  Sorry about the bad photos.
Everything was all wrapped in blue starry paper.

First is my cute little rat/mouse.

Then my kitty cat  Cheesy

And then, because I'm spoiled, my tiny rat that I adore!

If that's not enough Feline2001 sent me extras!!!

A crochet for beginners book (how could you know how much I want to learn?) 3 crochet hooks and three super soft balls of yarn. On top of all that there was a sheet of hand dyed fabric, 4 rolls of ribbon and 2 packs of treats for my ratties. But the absolute best was the pick'n'mix cup full of white and pink chocolate mice, they're all gone already, but they where so good.

I'm so impressed with how much thought and effort when into everything Feline2001 sent me. Thank you so much, I hope you love what I'm sending you!

3  Re: Zelda swap round 2 Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by Shy on: February 09, 2011 01:30:14 PM
I finally got my pictures (never ask a graphic designer to reduce the size of your photos, they can't help themselves, it takes half the night and you end up with this   Huh ) sorry the light is so bad, the weather here has been pretty dreary.

So when I opened my package I found a laptop bag! And in my favourite colours too.  Wink It fits my laptop perfectly, but to be honest I might just use it out and about too. In it I found a dark link hat, which also fits perfectly and is so cosy, but my mum "borrowed" it pretty quickly.

Then I found all these. Zelda mints, most of which are gone. A tiny chest charm that might be a new key charm. The triforce and my favourite Zelda item a boss key, how did you know? 2 bright orange trims that I'll need to find a really god project for. And 3 bars of cadbury cocolate, I had no idea it would taste so different from British cadbury chocolate.  Shocked

And now for the most amazing part, a dark link tunic, hat, master sword and hyrule shield... for my ball jointed doll! I love this so much.  Cheesy I haven't left him alone since I put them on him. He can even fit the sword in his hand! Please excuse his lack of face up, he was having it changed when my goodies arrived. Here's dark link standing on my ballet book and snuggling a purple chuchu.  Cheesy Even the belt detail is amazing.

And just to share some of the fun I've been having.

Thank you so much Harvey, I'm so lucky!

4  Chocobo cookies! in Dessert by Shy on: February 02, 2011 07:54:44 AM
I found this photo when I was clearing out the internal memory in my camera, and thought you all might like to see them. Two years ago, for my fiances birthday I cooked up 12 chocobos, 6 buster swords and 3 gunblades. This photo is all that's left of them.

I basically drew the shapes, cut them out in card, sat them on the cookie dough and then cut around the templates with a knife. About 3 hours later I was going a bit crazy, but it was worth it for how excited he was.

I got home today and found this package from IdlersDesign waiting for me. I don't know what my postman does to my mail, but his man handling had given it two big holes and lost it two and a half hearts    Sad

When I opened it I found some Dutch goodies (gift cards and some cute fabric) a post card and a mystery item!  Cheesy All I knew was that it would be something for my dolls.

Inside the orange wrapper I found a really cute little bag with a key charm (which my bjd Elexi has claimed)

And inside was the most adorable crochet chuchu, he's even my favorite colour! Elexi has claimed him too, but that's ok since they look so cute together

Thanks again IdlersDesign, I love all of it, but especially my chuchu.

6  My 1st post & 1st Can-Can outfit! Img heavy in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Shy on: April 06, 2010 01:16:18 PM
Ok, so this is my first ever post on craftster, I'm a 1st year textiles student and I made this outfit for my sisters can-can performance last year.

It was a pretty huge circle skirt, I had to sew 30 metres of ruffles onto it....sorry about the smudgy pics.

Check the snazzy buttons on the back.

This was the 1st steel boned corset I've made.

All in all it took about a week non stop to make...but this was the whole finished thing....

Any comments would be greatly appreciated (Im currently working through my 2nd can-can skirt for a performance this week).
