I love this bag! the shape and everything! i wouldnt add anything to the outside. it looks awesome the way it is. i like the inside fabric too, it adds a great suprise punch  Grin

Howdy neighbor! I'm new to knitting and crocheting. I mostly sew and make jewelry. I am currently working on a ripple pattern crochet blanket though Smiley

I was just looking at that Burda pattern not five minutes ago, wondering what it would look like in reality - I love it!  Great job!

It's obvious that I'm going to have to make a few of these. 

You said the top is too big - is that an issue of the pattern running big, or not having the correct measurements, or something else?

The pattern runs a bit big, and the neck is SUPER low. You may want to adjust that before cutting it out. Also, Burda doesnt include seam allowances in their free patterns, so make sure you add those!

it was a FREE pattern from Burda!!!  Here is the link if you want to try it out! Its the empire top + dress. I actually made the dress because I wanted the top a bit long. It definately isnt long enough to be a dress (for me anyway... I am 5'9")
