Sweet_aya: try nail polish, maybe not right in the final frame in case it won't work and ruin it, you can use something else as a base -a rounded piece of cold porcelain clay or a coin-. I've done a pendant of a cat on clay, painted it with watercolours, applied nail polish, then resin and the colours didn't mix nor get a 'wet' appearance at all.

And here's what I got from sweet_aya. Since we were giving the swap a Breakfast at Tiffany's vibe, she gave me this beautiful bracelet which is perfect for going to parties and dancing to Henry Mancini's music.





I don't know how she came up with such wonders and that's what I love about sharing: the surprise of unexpected gifts.

I'd gladly pay for airmail rates all the way from Argentina to wherever you are just to get in return one of your Rainbow Brite envelopes. This is a great idea, not only for the kick to my childhood RB has given me, but for keeping safe the lost art of writing letters.

This is my first topic and I would like to introduce myself to the comunity through this tiny decoration items I've made, which are also environmental friendly since they are in fact recycled cans.

These two celebrity portraits by Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe are supported inside tunafish cans:



and this mini diorama, inspired by Woody Allen's Manhattan poster, lays inside a larger sardine can:



The tiny figures are made in cold porcelain and glued to the base of the can; I used the web to get the pictures and my always trustworthy laserjet to print them, then I just taped them to the bottom of the can once it was clean. Allen and Keaton are in shades but keep their realism still; Hepburn and Monroe on the contrary, are little mices just because.

I hope you like them; our favorite movie stars or the photos of our loved ones can easily make up any shelf or corner in our house that's crying for decoration.
