1  Re: July Birthday Swap Discussion and Gallery in The Swap Gallery by nialew on: August 12, 2011 07:47:55 PM
Yay! I received my package from Kaz814 today and was so surprised to see the beautiful gifts. When I first open the box I seen four gifts wrapped in cool comics and I thought that was so crafty.

Then when I open the gift I was not expecting to be spoiled with so much great jewelry making supplies and the beautiful pencil skirt pattern. Thanks Kaz814 for a great birthday gift.  Smiley

2  flower hair accessory in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by nialew on: August 05, 2011 07:39:14 AM

I made this beautiful hairpiece from a tutorial I found on Craftster. It was fun and cheap to make. I got all the supplies from my near by dollar store. I am going to experiment with this project to make  tons of  unique hairpieces. Some of my ideas are daisy and roses or maybe adding feathers to give the project a completely different look.Overall it does not matter how you accessorize these projects they could be made to express anyone personality.
Here is the tutorial. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=354610.0

I made these lovely bangles with three simple things old plastic bangles, E6000, and ribbon. They were super easy to make and I am in love with the color. All you have to do is wrap the ribbon around the bangle an glue the ends down.
