2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / Latest Work In Progress on: September 28, 2010 12:52:51 PM
Here is a picture of my latest cross stitch piece. Progress has slowed down a lot due to my starting a new job in massage therapy within the last month and I'm generally too sore and tired when I come home at night to stitch.  Undecided

At any rate, here's the picture and my mats list: Smiley

4  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / XS Finish on: April 27, 2010 09:55:14 PM
Here is my latest cross stitch finish. The pattern is by SanMan Originals and it is a Member Only pattern. It was a SAL for the members of the board and I had such a good time picking things out. I didn't follow the suggested threads, but instead opened up my bins of stash and chose the fibers and things I would use on the fly. Smiley

Here is the completed finish:

5  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Latest Card Finish on: April 27, 2010 09:49:07 PM

This is my third or fourth card I ever made. I have absolutely no clue what I am doing when i do these things. I just put stuff where I think it doesn't look too lame and tack it down!  Cheesy

6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / My Latest Finish on: April 12, 2010 10:14:34 AM
Had a one day start and finish yesterday. It's a 5 part SAL for Members Only at the http://www.sanmanoriginals.com/ boards. (If you'd like to become a member, please sign up here: http://www.sanmanoriginals.com/forum/profile.php?mode=register&sid=dc6203cece37324ac6c905109d14ec2f).

And since I cannot leave well enough alone at times, I completely changed the fibers and fabric that were suggested in the original patterns.  Shocked

Here are my stitchy notes:

Design: Four Seasons Fatties SAL

Designer: Sandra Dering of SanMan Originals

Fabric: 28 count white evenweave (possibly Lugana)

Fibers: DMC numbers 51, 111, 115, 310, and 317. Anchor numbers 295 and 801. Kreinik Very Fine Braid #4 in 150V.

Accouterments: Mill Hill beads in in #00556.

7  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / Hi all! :) on: April 03, 2010 08:57:58 AM
Just thought I would take a moment to introduce myself.

I am new to the Craftster community, but I've been cross stitching for about 15 years now. I've also dabbled in SRE, hand embroidery, decoupage, and sewing. This year I am looking to try beading and card making. I really like the community so far and I look forward to contributing and learning from you all! Smiley
