2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / dried roses on: September 25, 2005 02:45:29 AM
I've got tons of dried roses and really wanna do somthing with them, not sure exactly what yet, somthing jewelry or clothing accent related probably. The thing is, dried roses are fragile...and i'm kinda a klutz so i'd end up making them crumble and break...

soooo, my question is, what could i do to make the dried roses not fragile and easly breakable. like would there be anything i could dip them in and would make a hardend protective clear layer around the flower..

7  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / cd art border on: January 28, 2004 06:48:39 AM
(not sure if this is were i'd put this)

a while ago all my cds were stolen leaving me w/ 14 or so cd booklets. I had nothing to do with them (one I cut up and put on a notebook for my sister but I didn't feel like buying notebooks)

so I bordered my room w/ them. I cut them all where they folded and taped each individual square randomly next to each other (I made sure for some reason nothing from the same cd booklet was next to each other) in a row around my room.

I still have a lot more tho. gah! what can I do w/ the rest? Huh

9  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / lots of cd booklets on: December 21, 2003 02:50:27 PM
(i think thats what they are called...the folded up paper things that come in cd cases..)

my cds were stolen a little while ago  Cry  and now i have about 13...14 of them and i don't want to throw them away. i'm one of those people that likes to hold on to things  (and if i can, make stuff out of 'em!)

but i can't think of anything to do with them!...
any ideas?  Huh
