1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Yoda/TARDIS Forever on: April 01, 2010 11:03:10 AM
Hello all! I'm brand new here, but I've carefully read the FAQ's and various other mod notes. Hopefully if I do manage to make any local faux pas someone will inform me politely.

Wanted to share a counted cross-stitch bookmark I made for a dear friend of mine. She is a tiny package of pure awesome, so I made a design with characters from two of our favorite shared fandoms, who are also vast awesome packed in surprisingly tiny packages.

You can see the stitching a little better in this one. If I did it over I'd use a higher contrast between the shades of blue on the TARDIS, and a lighter green for Yoda.

It's pretty simple, but she likes it. I'm most proud that for the first time in my history of stitching, the reverse side looks neat instead of a writhing mass of strings fighting to get free.
