This sure has been a crazy month between getting sick and things life likes to throw at me.  Sorry I haven't been online to post in here as much as I intended.  I just need to throw a few last minute touches on things then I'll be ready to send out!

I found an interesting post apocalyptic series, Jeremiah, that I just started watching. 

I've been busy crafting away while I'm stuck at home with bad weather.  I'll be heading to the store to stock up on some more supplies in the next day or two. 

I'm snowed/iced in today.  Sounds like a perfect day for some crafting!

Time to look through the supply stash and run by some thrift stores!

Does the saran wrap keep your yarn and fabric dry?  If so that would be a great method for me to try.  The part I'm mostly concerned with is that I don't want any of the dye running when it's steamed.  I'm accustom to wrapping my fabric around a sheet so that none of the fabric is overlapping itself.

I'm really excited about this swap.  It's also my first one.  I've been reading lots of Tank Girl lately. 

My home studio is finally getting cleaned out and is almost ready for tons of crafting.

I've been using Procion MX dyes for years at college.  I'm trying to get a home studio set up since I no longer have access to the school's amazing studio.  I do a lot of dye paintings, similar to silk paintings.  I can't afford spend $1000 on a nice vertical steamer.  I've heard of rolling up your work in and using pots on the stove, but I'm worried about it not working well.  I tend to make fairly large paintings 3ft x 6ft.  

Does anyone have experience or advice on what will or won't work?
