::blushing:: haha. thanks for all the nice comments!!! Cheesy Roll Eyes Shocked

there are no in progress shots because i totally didn't think of it. haha. kinda wish i had though.

That is an awesome likeness to Wall-e he would love it. Actually the hidden box usefulness is one of the best features. Not only a great gift but something you could use and its so cute you can display it anywhere. Further more if your that good at turning recycled items into something like that you're looking at a BUISNESS-one for the mothers and gift seekers-two for those who wish to go green and three because it's recyclable you can sell for cheep and make a big profit. Think about it (use all the characters from diff movies but don't forget the rights from the companies to use there charaters).

i'd love to make anything to sell, but i have no time once school starts (i'm in med school) but thanks for the nice comments  Roll Eyes

I made this for my bf's birthday and just got around to posting it. I wanted it to have some sort of practical use as well so I made the body a box. Its all made out of cardboard and various recycled things found around the house. Let me know what you think!

28  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / earrings, earrings, earrings :) on: July 05, 2009 01:00:44 PM

29  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / College Penholder on: June 20, 2009 08:18:57 AM
i needed a quick graduation present for my cousin so I whipped a penholder with his school's mascot. i covered a cardboard tube with wallpaper and traced and cut out the dragon from wallpaper. and i covered the whole thing with a matte varnish so the points dont peel off. and i painted a couple pencils in the school colors, made a little magnet, and found some blue and yellow thumbtacks. he's going to drexel in the fall Smiley

30  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Soda Can Flower!!! on: April 28, 2009 03:25:27 PM
Cool, and you did a good on the shape and edge of the flower.

What tools did you use? And how do you attach the pieces together?

thanks! we used nails to attached everything to the board and alittle hot glue to hold the flower in the shape we wanted.
