For a recent craft swap I made this change purse for my partner. She had something very similar on her wist, and I think it looks pretty close to the original.

I love the way this ring turned out! The process is really simple and fun, I'm excited to play around with some more colors. I used my rose to make a ring, but really you could use it for whatever you want!

To make the roses you just need ribbon, and a needle and thread.

Start by folding in one end of the ribbon and then wrap and twist around the center.







Continue this process by adding stitches every so often to secure and then secure the end when your rose is the size you like.

Just a simple ring I made by gluing two buttons to a blank ring!

These are some bow tie necklaces I made out of fabric and felt! They're lots of fun to make!

To make one of your own for a 1 inch straightener or curling iron you will need: two fabric strips measuring 6x30 inches and one piece of batting measuring 6x30inches.

Lay one piece of fabric down right side up. Place the second piece of fabric on top right side down. Lay the piece of batting on top. Pin all three layers together. and Sew around all sides leaving a 3 inch gap on one of the 6 inch sides.

Clip your corners, and turn the fabric right side out. Pin the gap opening and sew across the entire 6 inch side.



Fold the other six inch side down 3 inches. Fold the other end of the rectangle up to meet the top edge. Pin all the layers together and stitch along both sides. 





Flip right side out.

The first picture will show the front, the second showing the back.





Place your straightener inside and close the flap from the back by pulling it over to the front.





I love having this cozy, especially for traveling!

Just thought I would share some of my recent projects, all three of them are made from fabric. The first two are made from fabric yo yo's, and the last one is made from fabric scraps I had left over from another project!

I've seen a few past Gilmore Girls swaps, I still miss that show like crazy!!

This is the first project I have posted here on craftster, and am very shy to do so. I started crocheting in November so forgive any of my mistakes

I made this Buzz for my mom who has a huge collection of Buzz Light year things. I gave it to her a few weeks ago and she loves him! He is about 5 inches tall, and I added felt details.

Any constructive criticism is welcome!
