1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Journals for the Friends!!! on: May 08, 2010 02:12:49 PM
Alright guys. First off I just want to give credit to who deserves it. I used a tutorial for these journals. (http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-bind-your-own-Hardback-Book/) The tutorial is very straight forward and amazing.

The materials I used where a bunch of fabric quarters that were $1 at Joanns. A bunch of cardboard.
PS. I recommend you not use gorilla glue for this project. I tried it and it blew up in my face. It foams too much and raises the fabric too far off the cardboard. I used hot glue and it worked great!!!

Hope you like!!!

Happy crafting!!!

How do you keep the top of the bikini top from being so open? I feel like if I bend over in the one I made that everyone and their dog can see all I've got.

I'm not really understanding how this works. I know you re-use them and wash them. How do you keep them from being stained and such?

There are so many types of led string lights and I'm not sure which are the best to use. Which did you use?

(PS. Leather does suck to sew on but I've never seen anyone finish a project with it that it didn't look good. So great job)
