Here is a table I made from a busted up chair I recovered from a dumpster and a planter I made from a drawer that was going to be thrown away but was rescued by my neighbor for me because she said "I bet you could make something out of this" Smiley

9  Re: Fall Craft for Kids' Party PRETTY PLEASE HELP :) in Halloween Decor and Parties by singersullivan on: September 14, 2010 07:13:47 PM
THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time and trouble to gave those and put them in this post Smiley
I made the Thanksgiving Tree one last year with my daughter's 3rd grade class. We used tree limbs, mason jars, scrapbook paper, twine and landscape pebbles (you get a huge bag VERY cheap and they are pretty). I also used pinking shears on leftover fabric I had that was fall colors and created a ribbon strip for the kids to make bows on them. I had everything on hand but the pebbles so the whole project for all 10 of the students cost me $7 Smiley
Here is a picture of the one my daughter's made. I stored it after Thanksgiving last year in my basement and plan to bring it out and add have our whole family add to the Thankful Tags.

Here are a few ideas I rounded up for you, I was looking for some fall crafts for myself anyways.  Sounds like you will have your hands full.  Good luck, hope this gives you some ideas.

Branch Centerpiece, cheap easy.

Turkey, easy.

Cottonball Corn Cob

Paperbag Pumpkin, doesn't have to be a jack 'o' lantern.

There are a few fall ideas farther down on this page.

cardboard tube crow.

Few Tree and leaf ideas here.

10  Free Upcycled Wine Rack in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by singersullivan on: August 31, 2010 06:00:22 PM
I had a huge Wine Rack on top of my fridge that took up tons of space. The most wine I ever have at a time is a bottle or two and the rack I had held 12 bottles. So I gave the Rack away and set out to find something to create a smaller one with things I had on hand. 3 Tomato Sauce Cans opened at the top and bottom, some Gorilla Glue and Leftover Black Spray Paint I had from my Kids Art Display Board (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=358165.0) later and here is my new Upcycled Free Rack....
