1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Mickey Mouse Present Ideas?! on: August 25, 2012 01:40:20 PM
My friend is having a Mickey Mouse themed party for her soon to be three year old son. I'd love to make/give him something(s) to do with that theme. Anyone have any ideas for a 3 year old boy who loves Mickey?!
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Gifts to have on hand? on: July 23, 2012 11:32:06 AM
I'm wondering if anyone has ideas for some generic but nice, crafty gifts to keep on hand at home just incase. I find myself forgetting people's birthdays and such or we will have a surprise guest at Christmas and I'd like to be able to be prepared for these people! It could be unisex or seperate ideas for  males/females. Thanks!
3  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Organization for Recipes? on: September 24, 2010 03:19:18 AM
I moved out of my mothers home about 6 months ago. My boyfriend and I live together and we're new at basically everything. We're both good at cooking, and we enjoy it. The problem we're having is we don't really have our 'own' recipes yet, and the recipes we do have we sort of forget about because they're not organized very nicely or well at all.. so they're hard to find and such. My question is how do you store your recipes? I don't want them on the computer because I have a ton of recipes on the computer, but I NEVER use them since they're on here. I'm fine with finding them and printing them/writing them out off of here though. I've heard of recipe software sort of but I don't know much about it, so if you do and have any suggestions let me know about that too! Thanks in advance Smiley
4  CANADA / Alberta / Calgary Craft Club (E-Mail Sign Up) on: September 13, 2010 11:59:58 PM
We are a new club that is looking to meet either every second Thursday from 7:00pm – 9:00pm or every Thursday at the same time. It will be an open craft club, meaning you bring your craft supplies and craft to work on at my place; rather than all making the same thing that some people might not be interested in! All you have to do is bring your supplies. If you wish to drink alcohol that is fine, but you must bring your own. The only rules I have are to respect everyone else in the club, you must be fine with being around a cat (I have one and the meetings will be held at my apartment) and you must bring something yummy for everyone to snack on (either homemade or store bought). I would also like to keep this to people 18 years and up. Beginners are welcome as well! My place is located in the beltline area. I won’t be starting the club up until either mid October or the beginning of November, but I’m posting this to see who is interested and write up an e-mail list. If you’re interested in being in working on your crafts and making new friends then please respond to this with the following: Name (First and Last), Phone Number, E-Mail, weather you would prefer to meet once a week or once every two weeks and if the time frame (7-9) works for you or not. One more thing, I can’t have anyone painting large canvases (or any really messy painting in general) because I live in a rental apartment. If you want to bring something to paint neatly then just bring an old sheet or something to work on top of. Thanks everyone!

6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Ideas for gifts for little girls? on: August 08, 2010 02:08:55 PM
I have four little girls in my family, all under 6. My sister is also due right before Christmas (they don't know the sex though). I was just wondering what you've all made for little kids in the past? What went over well, what your ideas are, etc.
7  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / First Post, Craftster introduced me to ATC's!(lots of pics) on: April 07, 2010 12:32:19 PM
Hello everyone! My name is Paige and I am new to craftster (I think I signed up on the 27th of March).
I am completely obsessed with this site now! I always had a ton of trouble finding 'adult' crafts. Anyways.. I discovered the lovely craft of ATC's from here and have made a bunch since then. Here's a ton of pictures, C&C is always welcome Smiley
