Please contact me when you have sent. I have unexpected exams in less than 2 weeks and I just don't have the time to go around chasing everyone up, so please do me a favour and make my work a bit easier  Grin

Hi Lasandri,
I haven't heard from Brandgurl yet either. I pm'd her a few days ago. If you don't hear anything, let me know and I'll email her...and if we still don't hear by 1st of Sept, we'll start looking for swap angels.

I'm still waiting to hear from quite a few people. Please contact me to let me know when you have sent- I don't have lots of free time to chase you all up!  Wink

Take care,
~K~

I have just sent PMs to
spinster
brandiegurl28
ceana
princess dukki
to find out if they have sent their photos/when they will send.

Is there anyone missing from this list that hasn't sent and hasn't yet contacted me about lateness?

Please let me know when you receive from your partners so I can update my list on the first page!

17  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Hair Extensions on: August 11, 2005 10:33:22 AM
Sleeping last night was a little scary cos I thought I was going to accidentally pull out an extension!
Here's an aftershot..my hair was just below shoulder length before..and it looks a bit shorter here because i've sort of brought it forwards

I found an awesome web site for long hair up dos if anyone's interested

Yay for long hair!

also, it's weird that they would cost more because I bought them and put them in myself and it only ran me $20 at most.

You guys don't know how lucky you are being in the US. Everything's so cheap and bountiful there! I don't know of anywhere here in the UK where they sell hair extensions that you can glue in yourself - the closest thing is those clip-in ones you can get..!

Well they're in!
They're gorgeous - a perfect match to my hair colour. It took a total of 5 hours in the end but I am so so pleased with the results. I've been told to use a soft bristle brush only. I hope I remember! I can't leave them alone at the moment..it feels strange to have hair touch the back of my arms!

Anyone have any idea where I can get inspiration for up-dos/styles with my new long hair? I'm so excited!

The guy doing my extentions mentioned that if I'd paid almost double I could've had tracks instead and that would only have taken about an hour!...I don't know anything else about tracks though.. Can anyone elaborate? I get the feeling they are like wide extensions  Huh

I'll make sure they don't make them too tight so that I am in agony!
I didn't realise they twisted up, I'll ask the hairdresser about that. Maybe if I sleep with my hair tied up loosely they wont twist so much..?

They've recommended changing them in about 3/4 months (it'll be more like 4 because I am away at uni).
They are a bit expensive but I figured its a nice treat to keep me motivated with my studying right now! They work out a bit cheaper than yours but I'm having about 125 of them put in, apparently! eeeek! Sounds like a lot of hair..I guess thats why its going to take so long!

My hair is sort of mid/dark brown. I'm getting human hair too and I've been told that if I let them dry naturally they will go a bit wavy, which sounds awesome..I can get that beach-y hair look, since mine is uber-straight

Thanks for the info  Wink
