1  Bella's Bracelet in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by rebeccavoy on: March 07, 2009 08:06:34 PM
I feel like I'm just adding yet another to the growing pile but, as I haven't posted anything in a while, I thought I'd put it up anyway.

I made this for my sister's birthday last week.

2  Eddy the Lightbulb in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by rebeccavoy on: July 31, 2007 02:41:45 AM
This is Eddy (Eddy Son) the Lightbulb, a birthday present for a friend.

Strangely enough I couldn't seem to find a lightbulb pattern so I made one up. My first, albeit a relatively simple, amigurami.

What do you think?

3  Re: I *heart* the library swap gallery in The Swap Gallery by rebeccavoy on: June 06, 2007 07:31:30 PM
I am having the worst luck with photos today, but lets see if third time's the charm huh. Just in case, the pictures are also posted here http://rebeccavoy.livejournal.com/533.html.

Anyways, have a look at all the wonderful goodies aussie_patches sent me!

A book thong/mark - the pics don't do it justice, the beads are so shiny! they glitter!

A hand-painted bookmark - I'm thinking I'm gonna use it in my uni text books so that when I get overwhelmed I can look at it and imagine I was there

A framed picture - I LOVE LOVE LOVE this! I think I've shown everyone who comes in lol.

And last, but definately not least ... a great big library tote bag with a library girl on it. How cool is that? I'm taking it to work today to make all the librarians jealous ... mean? I don't think so Smiley

4  Tiger Lily in Halloween Costumes by rebeccavoy on: March 21, 2007 01:20:17 AM
I got my very first sewing machine for Christmas this year so when my cousin got invited to a Peter Pan dress up party I jumped at the chance to make the costume ... then quickly realised that I had no experience whatsoever when it came to clothing.

Still, I had fun and was pretty pleased how with how it came out! She looked so cute!

5  Sewing Kit/Folder in Completed Projects by rebeccavoy on: December 11, 2006 08:41:54 PM
A few weeks ago I taught a friend of mine to do cross stitch and I figured that if she was going to get into crafts (yay!) then she might as well do it in style.

So of course, being somewhat insane, I (who have never done any real sewing before) decided to make her a sewing kit for Christmas. After agonising over exactly how to do it for weeks I eventually finished and ... ta da! Here it is
