1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: crocheted rugs on: October 12, 2010 10:48:42 AM
A pink and purple version of the heart one would look so cute in my daughter's room.
2  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: T-Shirt Yarn Tutorial on: October 12, 2010 10:46:43 AM
Thank you for all of the detailed pics. If only I had some good quality t-shirts around the house. We usually wear all the life out of ours.
3  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: Amigurumi Animal Craftalong on: June 29, 2010 01:30:22 PM
I'm sorry that I missed out on this one. I think I might give it a go anyway. This project looks like a good way to use up a bit of leftover yarn.

I wish they had a picture of someone wearing the vest.
5  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: mission: Yoshi (WIP, posting updated pics each week) on: March 27, 2010 10:37:24 AM
I have never completed a granny square blanket, or any blanket for that matter. I guess my attention span isn't there for that big of a project. But I admire those who do undertake (and complete) such big projects. I look forward to seeing your progress.

Wow, your son looks super tiny on top of Yoshi's head.  Smiley Do you know the approximate finished dimensions of the blanket? I'm sure your friend will really appreciate all of your effort.

This is great! Thanks jesse for the link. I think I can use this technique to extend the length on my daughter's skirts.
8  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: What did I unintentionally crochet? on: March 26, 2010 06:49:35 PM
What you made also reminds me of a flower. I tend to keep everything that I crochet, regardless of how it turns out. I'm not sure why. . . I guess I think that I may find a use for each piece one day.

Anyway, happy crocheting! I'm sure you'll get the hang of it quickly.
9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: new hat, new stitch! Wave Break hat on: March 26, 2010 06:37:41 PM
That is a very nice stitch. This is my first time hearing about it. I really like the color you chose for the hat.
