541  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Completed Projects / Re: Sisters After Prom Dress on: June 25, 2010 03:08:53 PM
That's great!  Totally original and I love the lines!  I've never heard of having a different dress for after prom, and that one is totally prom-able!   Wink  I really like the fortuitous accident of the small front because the sash looks great with it, makes it both revealing and modest at once!

I see future fancy dresses in your future...

I mostly just had to say that I can't stand the cuteness of that rainbow pillow with clouds!!!!  I love rainbows!  Smiley  I haven't quite gotten to doing swaps yet...  this is really tempting though.

I think this would look great with plaids:

This is really pretty too and would probably be pretty easy to replicate:

This looks like a stack and whack - but cool grandpa story!

Or a simple four square/one square:

I've looked at this a few times but just noticed the picture with the cat on the bed - it looks for all the world like you created a throne just for the kitty!  (which, I'm sure, is what kitty assumes.)

I don't know if this counts as a crafty idea - but you could find someone on ETSY who makes vinyl decals and request a special order.  I don't think it would be too expensive and it would look very professional!  Wish I had a better suggestion.  (If you both go in together might get a deal.)
547  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: laminate samples? what do i make? on: April 03, 2010 07:17:34 PM
maybe...doll house furniture? If you cut and glue?  Looking forward to the result..

WOW!  This is amazing.  I am blown away by the painted furniture - it's just so beautiful.  The canopy for the bed with the lights in it is incredible too!  Thanks so much for letting me know this was up.

I can't imagine what you would do for a teenager room!  My sister just has a great big mirror (that's important, I know) and lots of changing posters depending on what is cool at the moment.

Can't wait to see what you do next! Smiley

Hooray!  I love these!  We're embarking on a similar journey - horrible wallpaper and a limited budget.  What the previous owners lacked in skills and abilities they made up for with glue.  Seriously, half in strips of wallpaper where they failed to measure.  Love the gray wall!  We're thinking in a similar direction for bathroom 2...someday...

This is gorgeous!  I love all the details!  I was looking for some ideas for my daughter's room (whose name is Ariel Smiley ) but this looks a bit out of my league!  I LOVE IT!!
