1  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Eyeball Peephole on: May 29, 2013 05:42:31 PM
Haha that totally would be fantastic though.

I feel like that could be found in, like, a picture book or something.
"don't go in the house with an eye!"
  "But I want candy!"
^(it's a Halloween story)

Yeah, sometimes I wonder what the ups man thinks when he gets to my door.

Maybe: "If they ask me inside, just give a polite but firm 'no thank you'."
3  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Re: Starbucks de los Muertos, Day of the Dead on: May 25, 2013 11:09:45 AM
This randomly popped up while I was browsing and I died (haha).

It's so fantastic!

Good job!

I tend not to do a lot of paper-based crafts but this is really inspiring!

Like, a tiny bookshelf of a whole bunch of tiny 'old' books.

A stop-motion film with a wizard using those books....
I may be getting carried away here.
6  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Eyeball Peephole on: May 25, 2013 08:24:19 AM
This is amazing.

It's hilarious but it can also be kind of scary at the same time, but it's great.

I don't know how I would feel knocking on your door though.

This is so great! It's gorgeous.
The colors look really bright and strong too.
And I personally LOVE colors. So I really like that part : Grin

Great job! They're amazing.
9  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Dune 'tribute'? on: May 23, 2013 10:33:26 PM
So in school we read Dune by Frank Herbert.
Our final project was a trial for Paul, for treason(overthrowing the emperor), extortion(threatening to ruin spice if he didn't get what he wanted), and crimes of war(bombing and allowing the jihad to happen).
Awesome, right?
My teacher is playing the Guild and tomorrow is the 'deliberation'. She said that you could bribe the guild to 'make things happen'. Throughout the book we were given assigned groups to represent. I was assigned the House of Atreides.
You have to bribe her base on the group you represent and with a dune related item. So I made...
(Sorry for the long intro)(And I was only able to post links to pictures because I haven't posted often enough) UPDATE: I'm a big kid now!

 The Atreides Ducal Signet Ring.

^It's pretty crude. It works as a ring though. As in, it fits on my finger.

A crude replica of the pain box that the Reverend Mother uses to test Paul:
(It says PAIN on the bottom.

^the outside.

^inside.

Now I have a loyal Atreides soldier

I hate to admit it, but he looks unstable in both senses of the word. But the physical part was more my inability to take a good picture.

And here's a sandworm (this one is my favorite and not just because it was the easiest:

^the outside

^Zooming in

^teeth on the inside (it's hollow) and flash so that you could see the teeth in my bad lighting conditions.

So yeah, I don't know what I'll ask for, but I could ask for a lot.

Comments and criticism?
I don't do a lot of polymer clay so I'm a bit out of practice. That they are all pretty crude, I know.
10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Messenger Bag Tutorial on: March 28, 2010 04:40:43 PM
Thank you so much for posting the tutorial for this bag! I loved making it, and I am so excited for school tomorrow, seeing as I will be using my bag! (I never thought I would say that I was excited for school). Well, It took me around 2-3 hours, and I had a lot of fun making it, I chose the colors based on Hogwarts' Hufflepuff colors, and since I love dinosaurs (hence the screenname), I chose the Dino buttons to cover up the snap on clips I used.
I posted the pictures on my blog, I couldn't figure out how to post pictures on this post. But, I also posted them on Crafster on the gallery which is http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=344845 and also
http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=344841&cat=500&ppuser=213022
I would really like feed back, this is the first time I ever made such a big bag
