Here is my first (and sorta failed) attempt at sewing underwear. While I like the look and love the beaded detail... I failed in that they don't fit - not even remotely. I can't get them past my mid thigh lol. This is mostly because the material I used wasn't stretchy enough but I don't mind as I was more concentrating on getting the idea of the shape and technique of it.

I got a new machine and decided to try out some of the functions - this is the end result. I was going for a country look. Let me know what you think

This was my second attempt at this project (the first one turned out ok, but this one is much neater) - I wasn't aware when I did it that you shouldn't really use a stretchy material with calico but what I didn't know didn't hurt me hehe. I also found out after I did it that the velvet will wear out faster than the calico but never mind, I still like it.

This is my first post on something I've made, but I've really enjoyed reading about your creations and wanted to participate too.
This project originally started out as a bikini top, but then it occurred to me a top would be even cool. I didn't use a pattern, and the fabric I used from my brother and my boyfriend's old tshirts, the white was a Large and the black X-Large. It took two t-shirts to make it and while the inside looks shoddy, I'm pleased with the outside.

Hi there
My name is Stef, I'm 23 and reside in the picturesque Snowy Mountains region of Australia. Recently I got the brilliant idea I should design lingerie and, with that thought, came the realisation I would need to learn how to sew. However since buying a sewing machine (a Janome 19110 which I love) and perusing lots of sewing sites, I've pretty much been having a go at sewing everything BUT lingerie, bar a failed attempt at a pair of panties (they look lovely, they just don't fit me at all lol). Craftster has so far been my favourite site and I've seen some really awesome ideas on here that I can't wait to try.
I look forward to trying out some ideas and posting them and posting feedback to my fellow sewers.
