1  Re: Ongoing ATC Swap -- January 2016 Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by Mod35tBabe on: February 04, 2016 02:29:15 AM
I got these several days ago but haven't had a chance to post photos until now.

From RockingBearRanch I got a great sketch of Dr Beverly Hofstadter - and you're right, I don't have an ATC of her or any other secondary characters.

From Oath Keeper I got a drawing of a key with wings and quote from Harry Potter.

Thanks both of you for brilliant ATCs, I love them

The ATC I received from whatthepuck: 1950s

The ATC I sent to whatthepuck: Weird facts

Waiting on one of my ATCs to be received, and another to be sent to me

The following ATC I sent, but it's unknown if it was received or not. I decided to share it as I'm quite proud of it. I hope it arrived safely Smiley

And from Mod35tBabe, for my interesting words theme:
At first I didn't even see the 'good', I just saw the 'evil', and then all the sudden I SAW IT!!!
Thanks you guys, the cards are great!
[/quote]

Hehe glad you liked it - definitely one of my favourites I've made. I thought the combination of words was very cool.

What was also very cool is I received not one but TWO cool cards from madcrafter, and she also sent me a bobbin lace piece and a cool postcard. Thanks so much for a lovely package.

Hi everyone
I waited until I got all three parcels to take photos so I could upload everything at once.
First up I received a gorgeous Eiffel Tower (L'amour de la vie Hoodie's Collection for Timeless Treasures Fabric), deers/woodland (Once Upon a Time by Yuko Hawegawa), gorgeous scripted (Communique by Graphic 45) and a sewing motif themed one (Sew Labels by the Henley Studio) from Deece in MN:

Next I received an orange butterfly and bird, an uber cute owl, music script and gorgeously cute penguins fabrics from Froggirl (and don't you love the cow postcard?!)

And last but not least, I received from MareMare a cute birdy, safety pins on a lovely blue, cute orange and yellow, a gorgeous sewing motif, hot air balloons and thread fabrics:

Thanks again for fabulous parcels and a great swap!!!

Here are the beautiful pieces I got from my lovely partner Legatostroke. She is so unbelievably talented - I had stalked before she sent and knew she was good but I still did not expect this. She has captured my pets so beautifully and I think my mum got almost teary when she saw the one of our cat that recently passed away. Anyway, without further ado here they are:-

This is Blade (the one who passed away)

Buddy - our golden retriever

Buddy, Blade and our other cat Bella

And finally a German Shepherd keyring because I love GSDs with a passion.

Thank you so much Legatostroke

6  Re: AND It all Started with the BIG BANG THEORY SWAP!!!! GALLERY in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by Mod35tBabe on: March 29, 2012 06:10:14 AM
This is the fantastic package I received today, I am so utterly impressed with the incredible talent Kitten Wrangler possesses.

Firstly, we have an Amy doll with a tiara!

Amy's lab coat:

Her painting of Amy and Penny, her laptop, her iPhone and a moustache:

The Relationship Agreement:

Amy's luggage and a mini embroidery of Sheldon & Leonard (so I have a combined IQ of 360 at all times lol):

Thanks again for a fantastic package, I love everything in it. I took it to two craft groups today and everyone loved it.

I got rather spoilt by Zzdia a few days ago. She made me this fantastic capelet and a brilliant t-shirt featuring my favourite "Schroedinger's Cat is dead/alive" done in a really cool way.
Here are bnoth of them together:

An upclose shot of the work on the shirt:

And a close shot of the capelet - the collar part (the bit on the right) is actually a couple of shades different to the main part which gives a really cool effect:

Thanks for a fantastic swap parcel Zzdia
