1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: Advice on why my cellulose thinner image transfer won't work? on: August 12, 2013 06:41:39 AM
Ah, well done, you successfully found out something I couldn't....!

Even on the HP website it doesn't ever say inkjet - it says 'toner like...' which I must admit I thought was a bit suspicious....!

This makes sense coz I'm telling you, not one jot of the stuff budges!  Darn it.  That's a new printer too - so not even any chance of replacing it any time soon....!!
Thanks for your reply x Wink
2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Advice on why my cellulose thinner image transfer won't work? on: July 22, 2013 05:41:49 AM
Hello folks,

I'm desperate to do this image transfer technique http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=156073.msg5067555#msg5067555, but for the life of me can't get it to work!

I even just spent ages online checking my printer is a laser not an inkjet...!  Don't know why, but with images I print out I can't get diddly squat onto the paper   Cry

I'm using Rustin's cellulose thinner and images printed on an HP Photosmart 5520.
Anyone else find this sometimes doesn't work?!?  And when I say it doesn't work I mean literally not a tiny dot of ink gets transferred....

Or maybe got some ideas on why it's not happening....

Such a fun technique, I'm dying to have a go...!
