I haven't been sewing too long and seem to do well with straight lines like curtains and pillows.  I just finished my craft room and it has a raised counter area to make it easier to cut.  I decided a few weeks ago that I needed an ironing pad that will fit on it and turn it into a big ironing board when I need it and tuck away when I don't. 

Like I said, I'm pretty new at this but was happy with the way it turned out.

I have been lurking on the site for quite awhile and have gotten many ideas and inspirations from all the talented people here.  I love to craft and have a ton of different projects going on at any given time.  Recently I have been into sewing - mostly pillows and a bag here and there, but it has been fun.  I hope to get confident enough to post pictures of some projects soon.
