1  Re: Sea Creature Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by ViciousPrecious on: March 02, 2012 04:55:40 PM
Loving all the crafts so far! This has been such a fun swap.

I received my package from Glamis so here's a look at the amazing stuff she made me.

Fish bag!

Close up of the fins and scales. Beautiful fabric choice.

And you put your stuff in here. So clever!

My new little narwhal buddy ♥

Squid pin! The most tiny perfect stitches in the felt I have ever seen.

Card and plastic sea bits and other random cuteness.

One of my favourite things about international swapping... foreign confectionery... mmmmmm

Thank you so much to my partner and our organiser. Great swap. I'm thrilled. Hope Glamis likes her parcel too Cheesy

I received my awesome parcel from honeyd today and I am super impressed! Thank you so much. You are truly talented.

honeyd made me a customized Guess Who game. There are two versions, Super Mario or Muppets. Both some of my favourite things!

Also I once made a customized Guess Who game with facebook profile pics of my mates but it was nowhere near as good. I am mad jealous of your skills!

And some sweet extras.

Thanks so much for swapping. I'm thinking of making a new holiday tradition of playing this game with my brother! Cheesy

My awesome Muppet swag from pjr107 arrived! Thank you so much I love it. And The Muppet movie was finally released over here on January 12 here so I can go see it this weekend!

PJ made me my very own Yip Yip. So adorable!
His eye is not actually that wonk by the way, it's quite perfect.

And a Beaker cuff for my giant movie size frozen coke! What a great idea!

That's not all, there was this huge awesome tote made with the coolest fabric ever!

And then extra bits! The tasty cakes are delicious. I don't which flavour I like better. The shirt is soooo cool too. Thanks so much, you are wonderful. Cheesy

5  Granny Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by ViciousPrecious on: November 10, 2011 03:01:19 AM
I finally got around to making something from "Carry Me" by Yuka Koshizen after buying the book about a year ago. This is the Granny Bag made with Michael Miller "Prom" fabric.

It's a huge bag. About 16" by 17" not including the handles.

Plenty of room for shopping trips!

And a really roomy pocket with a zip to keep the important stuff safe.

I love this fabric, took just about the whole metre for the outside. My favourite is this cheeky girl spiking the punch bowl!

Totally going to get stuck in to some more patterns from this book now! Cheesy

6  Henchman Number 24 from Venture Bros. in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by ViciousPrecious on: October 19, 2011 03:16:45 AM
Here's the Henchman 24 doll I made. It's all hand sewn using craft felt. I pretty much eyeballed the pattern from pics I found on the internet. It was a gift for my brother who absolutely loves Venture Bros. I'm supposed to be working on Number 21 next so he has someone to hang out with. Smiley

Only my second time doing something like this so it probably looks a little rough close up but I think I'm getting better the more I try. Craftster has proved to be a great resource for tips and inspiration.

7  Two new dresses. The same, but different. in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by ViciousPrecious on: October 18, 2011 03:19:10 PM
Once I find a pattern I like I tend to make like a million of them. I love the way these ones turned out and I reckon they will be coming along to all the summer music festivals this year.

Collars and sleeves to keep the sun away from my way-too-pale-for-queensland skin Tongue

These patches I made myself with fabric markers and scrap fabric.

The pattern is an old Style 2705  Smiley

So unfortunately my parcel from UnderseaSun went missing somewhere between Canada, the Pacific Ocean and the east coast of Australia. I'm so sad I never got to see the awesomeness Sad

Luckily fellow Aussie special_occasion agreed to send me a little something. She is new to crafster and this is her first swap. I love the interpretation of the theme and the way everything was put together. Thanks so much! Cheesy

All wrapped up

Recipe cards with Sealab quotes, "Fignuts" pin, Harvey Birdman pendant, Brak sewing kit tin, hair clip, and nautical earrings (inspired by one of my posts)

Thank you so much, you've been more than generous and everything is way awesome.

9  Re: 1950s Inspired Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by ViciousPrecious on: July 25, 2011 02:26:20 AM
My partner has received so I reckon it's ok that I put up a couple of pics for the curious Wink

I made a cherry purse, 4 pinup pins, and a dress. The sunglasses were a little extra that went along as well, too perfect for the outfit. I didn't take photos of the gift box unfortunately, it had a collage of 1950s magazine clippings on the lid! I'd love to see a photo of the box and the dress in action.

Now that's all done I can finish making my dresses for the Greazefest kustom kulture weekend!

10  Re: Labyrinth Swap Round 4 GALLERY!! in The Swap Gallery by ViciousPrecious on: June 15, 2011 03:06:28 PM
Thanks for the compliments. I made two paintings but I kept one for myself and framed it. I figured I deserved a little Labyrinth goodness for my home too. Smiley
